Saw this a couple of times surfing the net, gets me thinking everytime LOL! . Source Room362.com.

A man in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted, Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.

The woman below replied, You’re in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You’re between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude.

You must be a programmer, said the balloonist.

I am, replied the woman, How did you know?

Well, answered the balloonist, everything you told me is technically correct, but I’ve no idea what to make of your information, and the fact is I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help at all. If anything, you’ve delayed my trip.

The woman below responded, You must be in Management.

I am, replied the balloonist, but how did you know?

Well, said the woman, you don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you’ve no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it’s my fault.

I don’t know what to think of myself. What will others think of me? What have I done??? I didn’t even see it coming. I saw others at work carrying it around. One of my close friends told me about it and I just laughed. I was shopping at Costco the other day and something drew me to it? I don”t know what came over me, I just picked it up and bought it. Now for the past 2 nights I’ve been obsessing over it. I can’t sleep! All I want to do is just….nevermind!

What is it? you ask, THIS…

It’s called “Twilight”, the first book of four in the Twilight Saga series by Stephenie Meyer.

I feel so ashamed! Isn’t that a chick book? Or one of them books for young adults? I guess it is. The sticker price on the book shown a really good price (best price in town), but above that was the word “Juvinile”. Worse yet I got it not in the adult section of the book isle, but the KIDS section! WTF?

Oh well…but to tell you the truth so be it. Mock me if you want. But all in all, I have nothing bad to say about this book. I actually “LOVE” the book, and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series! I can’t even wait till later in the year when the movie comes out!

To sum it up real quick its about a girl, (yada, yada, yada), vampire (yada,yada,yada) falling in love (blah, blah, blah). Your classic “good vs. evil” tale/love story. It has a clean storyline with an intense plot that for some strange reason, makes you want to read more and more. Now that’s just “my” opinion. I’ll just say now that some of you might like it, others will not.

I just have to say that in all the books I have ever read, there has only been quite a few books that I’ve obsessed about, completing it in a day or two and wanting to read more. This is one of them.

In closing, I just want to say thanks to my dearest friend Dee for being the one to “nudge” me in reading the book. **From the looks of it, you got some major catching up to do! LOL!**
